So, I got behind. Here is a peek at our lives the past few days.
A blog titled, "A Thousand Words" with only a few words. My life in photos, each worth a thousand words. One photo per day every day. Enjoy the chaos, the love, and the memories.

Trampoline
Yes, we did buy a tiny trampoline for Solomon at the Salvation Army. And, yes, he is in love. Sorry for the blur...

Trains Everywhere!
They love to drive their trains on the windowsill track. However, I spend 90% of the time saying, "Solomon Thomas, let your brother play with one of those trains!" You would think we only have like 1000 trains to play with!

Bugs, Worms, and Boys
As I dug in the dirt looking for bugs and discovering a worm to the fascination of my boys, I thought to myself, "Maybe this having a girl thing won't be so difficult, after all!"

Fort Wayne!
It was a fort day for the boys. Solomon still calls a fort "Fort Wayne" everytime. It is pretty cute.

Whole Wheat Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies
I made this recipe up and they are delicious. Plus, they are way healthier than the average cookie. Give it a try...I dare you. Note: I sometimes don't measure totally accurately (and sometimes I cook with a toddler), so these measurements are educated calculations of pinches and cups!
Ingredients:
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup honey
3 Tbls liquid egg whites
3 Tbls ground flaxseed
1 tsp vanilla
2 pureed bananas
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 12 ounce package semisweet chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375
Mix sugar, honey, egg whites, flaxseed, vanilla, and bananas in large bowl.
Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt. The mixture will be stiff.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Spoon onto cookie sheet about two inches apart (heaping tablespoon for each cookie).
Bake for 12-15 minutes until tops turn golden brown. These are a soft cookie and should not be over-baked. Soft centers are good.
Finally, eat and don't feel terrible about doing it. Sure, they have chocolate and some brown sugar...but no butter, no oil, egg whites only, replaced sugars with honey, whole wheat flour, flaxseed, and bananas...DELICIOUS! My best creation so far. My husband gave them a 9 out of 10 for chocolate chip cookies. Pretty good for a healthy alternative!

My Husband, The Nerd
He has always been a nerd. Now, he just wears the glasses. :) I actually really like them. It makes him look older...like my age.

Easter Monday with Daddy
What a great family day. We took a BIG walk today. We played and laughed. So refreshing!
